Caro Mio Ben
Dieses Lied ist die bekannteste Arie der 'Arie antiche' (alten Arien) des 18. Jahrhunderts. Es ist im Stil Handels geschrieben und wurde lange Zeit Giuseppe Giordani, dem Opernkomponisten und Komponisten geistlicher Musik aus der Neapolitaner Schule, zugeschrieben. Nach neuesten Untersuchungen hat sich erwiesen dass sein Sohn Tommaso (1733-1806) dieses Lied komponiert hat. Dieses Arrangement von Willy Hautvast kann mit einem Solisten/einer Solistin oder mit einem Gemischten Chor ausgeführt werden.
