Jerry Lordan (London, 1933) reached no less than five times the top 50 in the United Kingdom in the first half of 1960. However, his big success 'Apache', performed by 'The Shadows' (the group accompanying Cliff Richard) was number one in the charts during six weeks. Jorgen Ingman brought this number also to the very top of the hit parade in the USA. Willy Hautvast's thrilling arrangement rescues this gem from oblivion.
