The concept of this piece is to create contrasting musical portraits of three historical locations. Our musical tour starts with an exciting opening; The great wall of China. Then the feeling of being below sea level in, The lost city of Atlantis. To finish, the piece moves West to, the Giants Causeway in the Northern Ireland coastline. Using open 5ths and some melodic and harmonic patterns that often characterise Irish music, there is plenty of surprises and enjoyment for audiences and players alike!
