GIOIA
for Wind Band
Gioia, origineel voor koperblazers en slagwerkensemble. In opdracht van de fantastische hoornmusicus en vriend Quico Rico die dit kleine stuk als geschenk aan zijn zussen gaf. Het muzikale thema is opgebouwd uit een klein motief dat in het hele stuk voorkomt om grote lyrische lijnen te creëren en om de sonoriteit en elegantie van het koperensemble uit te buiten. De versie voor harmonieorkest is geschreven in opdracht van de "Banda Municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz" en hun dirigent Luis Orduña.
