Vals de l'A Fandanga
'Vals de l’A Fandanga' is a Peruvian-style waltz. Like their European counterparts, Latin American waltzes are meant for dancing, but they are typically performed in more folk and popular settings. As a result, they incorporate many musical elements characteristic of Latin American music.
This piece brings all of these influences together in a harmonious soundscape, woven with a beautiful melody and syncopated rhythms.
The composition was written for and dedicated to the 'Banda Harmonia Mosteirense, ' also known as 'A Fandanga. '
