Terra Nostra is an impressive composition by Jean‑Pierre Haeck, commissioned by Harmonie de Gamaches (FR) and dedicated to its conductors Frédéric and Gauthier Lion. This work invites listeners to reflect on both the beauty and fragility of our planet.
With a powerful narrative structure, Haeck takes the audience on a journey through the four fundamental elements that ancient philosophers believed to be the foundation of all life: Air, Water, Fire, and Earth. Each element is expressed through its own musical identity, full of symbolism and emotion.
